Golden Wholegrain

Naturally high in fibre and protein, our Golden Wholegrain flours let you enjoy all the health benefits of wholemeal with a lighter, milder taste. Combining white wheat grown by local farmers and premium wheat from around the world, these carefully selected varieties are lighter in colour and milder in taste. We then grind the entire grain in just one step. With nothing removed, we preserve all the nutrients and unique flavours of the wheat for an authentic flour packed with fibre and protein.

The Benefits

Sweeter tasting than traditional wholemeal flour, this family favourite makes healthy eating the tasty option. Still 100% wholemeal, this is a great way of getting more fibre into your diet.

The milling process for our Golden Wholegrain Plain flour also produces a finer texture, breaking down the bran particles for a dough that’s easier to handle. Use our Golden Wholegrain on its own, or combine with white, rye or spelt for extra flavour and natural goodness.

A nutritious alternative that’s easy to handle, tastes great and adds fibre to the diet.

Available in Plain and Bread varieties in 1kg, 16kg and bulk deliveries. It’s excellent for making nutritious and tasty cakes, muffins, croissants, pastry bases, bread and pasta and can be used as a coating.

Golden Wholegrain Recipes

Whether you’re looking for a blueberry muffin recipe for a healthy boost to the day or a lovely light loaf for some show stopping sandwiches, we have the perfect recipes. You can substitute Golden Wholegrain for your usual white flour for a wholesome alternative in many recipes. It absorbs more water than white flour so in some recipes you’ll need to increase the water you use. You can check out our pastry tips for more information.

School Catering

Golden Wholegrain offers an easy and tasty way for school caterers to increase children’s fibre and wholegrain intake, and meet nutritional standards without compromising on taste. Golden Wholegrain can be used 50/50 with you school’s usual white flour. Our technical baker can advise on how you can adapt your existing recipes for wholesome alternatives.
